The concept is to invite a group of 20 like-minded people and raise AUD$1 million for the purchase of majority share (say. 60%) in 4-5 yearlings at the forthcoming yearling sales. Through these horses, members (including their families and friends) get to experience the joy of horse ownership which include learning about the
bloodings/pedigrees and the training of the horse, arrending race meetings to watch your horse take part in the races and other aspects of the horse racing industry including stud tours, and hopefully the ultimate joy of winnning races and prize money.

ACJC Million Dollar Club will consider buying horses in Australia in partnership with international racing entities – this will in turn give us the connection to international owner groups which will in turn allow us the opportunity to enjoy premium racing experience in international racing carnivals, e.g. the International Racing Festival in Hong Kong, the Royal Ascot in the UK. Breeders Cup, Kentucky Derby in the US.
Another purpose of the Million Dollar Club is to provide members/investors to connect to each other regularly (at least 3 or 4 times a year) at dinners or other social functions. Functions can be in various formats depending on input of Club members. Again, through high end functions, this can lead to experiencing some of the very exclusive lifestyle opportunities in Australia or overseas through wine, fashion and dining, e.g. visit Chateau Remy Martin in Cognac, France

Horses will be selected on behalf of the Club by appointed independent licensed bloodstock consultants with an aim to buy horses targeting the rich races around the country. Yearlings (one year old) will be bought through public auction to give investors the most transparent way of acquiring the suitable horses. Only the top trainers in Sydney and Melbourne will be selected to educate and train these horses.
