What an exciting day of racing at Royal Randwick for Championship Day 1! Alalcance delivered a brilliant performance to win the Group 2 Chairman’s Quality, cementing her position as the favourite for the upcoming Group 1 Sydney Cup next Saturday. Meanwhile, Royal Patronage ran an incredible race, finishing a very close second — just a nose away — in the prestigious $4 million Group 1 Doncaster Stakes. Strong Performances from ACJC Horses
Our horse performed well today. Alalcance won the G3 Manion Cup at Rosehill Gardens. Royal Patronage finished 4th at the $1M G1 George Ryder Stakes. And Not So Common finished 3rd at Kembla Grange. Another win for the team today! Last year’s Melbourne Cup favourite made a powerful comeback, as Vauban claimed victory in the Group 3 Sky High Stakes at Rosehill Gardens. A huge thank you to our champion trainers and their incredible team, as well as jockey Tim Clark for a masterful ride — an outstanding performance all around. With this win, Vauban has officially secured his spot in this year’s Melbourne Cup. What a thrilling day it was for ACJC at Randwick yesterday, with two incredible wins marking a strong start to the Autumn racing season! Royal Patronage delivered a sensational performance, taking out the $750K Group 1 Canterbury Stakes.
