“ ACJC has 3 runners engaged at Randwick

Shiki contests the Group 2 Silver Slipper Stakes (Race 6 No 9).

She is an extremely talented filly capable of winning this race. Her recent trial and subsequent trackwork has been outstanding. She takes on the boys again in this race with many very high up in the Golden Slipper market, for which Shiki is $21. A win or forward showing tomorrow will see Shiki Golden Slipper odds reduce substantially. Hardest to beat include Hidrix, Confederation Incognito and Stratton Ruler.

Just Fine (Race 7 No 1) and Hoo Ya Mal (Race 7 No 9) contest the Group 3 Parramatta Cup. 

Just Fine is first up after 9 months off the scene . He’s fit and ready to race well. He will lead or sit close to the leaders and is a strong each way chance. 

Hoo Ya Mal is returning to racing after an extended break due to injury. He’s not going to be match fit and will need a few runs to be ready to win so it’s best to watch him run and hopefully he will be running on at the finish.

Just Fine is a definite top 3 chance. It’s a very competitive race with Travolta, Sam Hawkens, Piggyback and Campildino all being the obvious dangers.

Finally three horses couldn’t win but we enjoy the food, wine with members & friends gathering to celebrate The Year of Fire Horse.
